Loot (2011) second Link Description:What starts of as a simple painting theft for Pandit (Govinda) and Akbar (Jaaved Jaafery) on one hand, and motorcycle theft for Wilson (Mahaakshay Chakraborty), joined by the angry hitman, Builder (Suniel Shetty) -- all do it to earn a living -- soon turns into an utterly confusing, never ending war of the dons. Exactly where you lose track of the who's who... And exactly where you also lose interest in the whodunit part as well. Even a tired Govinda struggles to put up a comic show but fails miserably. The only one who seems confident is Mahesh Manjrekar as the suave, cool don with a panache for all things exotic. But what can one do when the comic timing relies totally on a bath robe looked upon as a man's skirt and Angelina Jolie as someone everybody wants in their `bagal wali kholi'. In short, too much chaos... and too many characters. |
